Revolutionary Road is a drama movie based on the novel written by Richard Yates of the same name. It’s directed by Sam Mendes and the cast includes Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio. The story is about April and Frank Wheeler who meet at a party. Seventh year passed of their marriage and they are living a perfect life with two young children. April is a housewife and Frank works in an office. Everything in their life is perfect but they are not happy. April’s dream was to become and actress and Frank doesn’t like his job.
To bring a change in their life, April suggests that they should move to Paris. That’s how the story starts. As always, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet gave an outstanding performance. It’s the first film where they worked together after Titanic. This movie managed to get positive response from critics. The movie nicely shows the highs and the lows in a relationship. 
The movie is amazing both artistically and visually. I went to see the movie with high expectations as people like Kate Winslet, Leonardo DiCaprio and Sam Mendes were related with this movie and I wasn’t disappointed.
